The Power of a Conversation and Taking on Big Goals
Meeting someone you never thought you would have the opportunity to meet is an awesome feeling.
Back in 2016, Engel Jones asked me to come on his show #12MinuteConvos. He lives in the Caribbean and at that time I thought he’d be another “internet friend” that I’d never meet face-to-face.
Then, Engel and his wife, Amanda, decided to do something extraordinary. They decided to leave their home in the Caribbean and travel (via car) around North America. Their goal is to meet as many of the people Engel interviewed on his podcast as possible. Considering he has interviewed over 1,000 people, that is a significant goal.
A few days ago, Engel and Angela dropped by our house on the way to Chicago. They were able to meet my son, David, and dog, Danny too. We did another interview that you can see below. Our visit was short, but I enjoyed being able to give both of them a hug and talk for a short while.
