Yesterday I talked about how some entrepreneurs are stuck in a pattern of running their business that does not give them everything that they really desire. I compared it to being in “hamster wheels” of various sizes.
If you found that you relate to that story, your business is not giving you the freedom that you really desire, stick around because today I'll share the steps for you to move out of that wheel here and now!
The basic concept is that many entrepreneurs find themselves running in a “hamster wheel” where they are working hard, but not really going where they want at the speed they want. If you find this analogy familiar, here is what you can do:
Step 1 – Recognize that you are “in the wheel” and say “Enough With the Craziness!” Decide to alter your path.
Step 2 – Slow the “wheel” down for a short while so you can evaluate the strategy and effectiveness of what you are doing.
Step 3 – Acknowledge how far you have come! Many people, when they realize they are “in the wheel”, start to self criticize or beat themselves up. Try not to do that.
Step 4 – Figure out how the “wheel” was created.
Step 5 – Figure out what you want instead.
Step 6 – Put the mindset, strategy, systems and automation in place to make that vision happen.
Ultimate Freedom in six steps.
Yes, it can take time to do these steps, but the value you get in return is priceless.

Constantly evaluating what we are doing and how it is helping us reach our goals is critical to our success. It’s always OK to tweak something that’s not working. Nice post!

Hi Martha – Thanks for dropping by my blog. Agreed! Re-evaluating your situation is something that many don’t do, but can really make huge improvements in your business and your life. I was on a radio show just last night telling the host that it is better done than perfect. You can always go back and improve and tweak later.
