About Calahan Solutions, Inc. Family of Sites
StephanieCalahan.com is an informational site that empowers business owners via education and support.
The primary focus of news and information presented is for U.S. based business owners.
You can find all of our contact information on our Contact page.
See below for the type of information we collect and how it is used, as well as what you can do if you have a concern.
What we collect
We may collect the following information:
- name and job title
- contact information including email address
- demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
- other information relevant to customer surveys, purchases and/or offers
How we gather information from users
How we collect and store information depends on the page you are visiting, the activities in which you elect to participate and the services provided. For example, you may be asked to provide information when you register for access to certain portions of our site or request certain features, such as newsletters or when you make a purchase. You may provide information when you participate in contests, message boards and chat rooms, and other interactive areas of our site.
Like most Web sites, we also collect information automatically and through the use of electronic tools that may be transparent to our visitors. For example, we may log the name of your Internet Service Provider or use cookie technology to recognize you and hold information from your visit. Among other things, the cookie may store your user name and password, sparing you from having to re-enter that information each time you visit, or may control the number of times you encounter a particular advertisement while visiting our site. As we adopt additional technology, we may also gather information through other means. In certain cases, you can choose not to provide us with information, for example by setting your browser to refuse to accept cookies, but if you do you may be unable to access certain portions of the site or may be asked to re-enter your user name and password, and we may not be able to customize the site’s features according to your preferences.
Anonymous Information Collected
Help Us Help You!
We put effort in research, vetting, and making available a wide variety of information that is free for you to access and contributes directly to your business success and life success.
This site collects anonymous data about site visitors to help us know what info you find most valuable so we can create more of it.
In other words, we freely give you the information, and you allow us to know that someone, somewhere read it. We can’t trace it back to you. It’s anonymous.
An IP address is an anonymous bit of data shared by all site visitors (both human and non-human/bots). It is tracked by the following third-parties for better security, content creation, and marketing purposes.
Your browser may also send response headers with generic/anonymized information about the type of browser, computer/device, and ISP you are using, and your location by country only.
- Google Analytics – so we can discover the type of content you find most helpful and create more of it. (Note: Google does not have access to this data.)
- Google Captcha – used on some forms on this site to confirm you are not a bot.
- Facebook Pixel Tracking – so we can retarget ads to like-minded people on that social platform. (Not your email, just anonymous IPs)
- A2 Hosting – kept in the server logs so the host can identify and stop bad automated/bot attacks and keep this site safe.
- Cloudflare – so the CDN can identify and stop bad automated/bot attacks and keep this site safe.
- YouTube – if you view a YouTube embedded video on the site, the IP info is sent to YouTube to record that the video has been viewed, just as it would if you had watched it directly on YouTube.
Email Collection and Web Forms
Our forms are created with JotForms or Infusionsoft. When you send us information via our web forms, the what you share is ultimately stored in Infusionsoft. Form submissions are stored indefinitely for customer service purposes. Information submitted is only used for marketing purposes if you have expressly given us permission and you have double opted in.
If you choose to subscribe to any of our mailing choices and/or if you make a purchase, your email address will be stored on their servers. You can access your info any time by clicking the Manage Subscription link at the bottom of any email you receive from us.
We have not and will not share your email address with any person or entity for marketing purposes. That includes Facebook. We will not upload our email list to that platform or any other.
TimeDriver/TimeTrade is used to integrate the site’s business calendar with Zoom for webinars and other client/prospective-client meetings. Email addresses submitted are retained by both services to facilitate meeting info notification, reminders, and rescheduling.
Leaving a comment on one of the posts on this site requires that you identify yourself by email address. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
That information is stored in the site’s database.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if the email address you used is connected to that provider so your image displays next to your comment. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Transaction and On-Going Service Data
We do not collect any payments directly through this site.
However, if you purchase one-on-one or group mentoring programs or information products, you may interact with:
- PayPal – used for direct invoicing via your email.
- Infusionsoft – used for recording purchases of products and contact information you provide us.
- GSuites – stores project and private client project data. (Note: Google does not have access to this data.)
- Vendors – work for your project is not outsourced without your knowledge. In those instances, your information may be shared with the service provider in order for them to complete services.
- Data backups are provided by Amazon Web Services and Google Sync
- Contact Forms – information you submit will be retained in the Infusionsoft CRM tool and our Outlook contact database for future communication.
- InstantTeleseminar – used for recording of courses and private client conversations.

Posts and pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, audio players images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
