7 Tips to Finding Your Writing Voice
When you write, is it really you that your readers get to experience? Is it your voice? Jeff Bullas wrote a great post on this. I've read it once and will likely read it again. I'm on my own path of finding my full voice in my writing. Parts of it are there and others are still hiding. I have a lot of higher-ed and corporate “business writing” training to undo… What do you do? I'd love to hear your tips.
Building Influence
There are many ways that you can influence and persuade others. Some are pretty sleazy (yuck). This 10 minute video reviews some ethical ways you can persuade.

Building Authority Online through Google+
Mark Traphagen is one of the extremely helpful people I've found recently on GooglePlus and he recently did an interview with Ryan Hanley on the Content Warfare Podcast to talk all things Google+. This is a great interview if you have been engaging on G+ for a long time or if you are just thinking about maybe getting into G+.
If you're looking for a resource that covers optimizing YouTube then check out this resource shared by Martin Shervington. In 12 minutes he covers an amazing amount of how-tos. To get the biggest bang from this video, I suggest that you reserve more time so that you can stop the video and apply what you have learned to your own channel.
How to Get your Name off Facebook ads
Getting out and getting visible in your business is a good thing until it is tied with an ad that you don't want to be tied to! If you opt into Facebook ads social actions you may be endorsing products/services on Facebook AND on websites outside of Facebook. Holly Kolman shares how to get your name and face off of other people's Facebook ads.
Collaboration, Content Creation, and Sharing
Steven Hughes shares this take on why you might want to consider sharing more of other people's work. How often do you share other people's content on social media? How often do you comment, +1, Like or RT? How often do you thank the person that found the great content, so you could see it? If its not at least daily, consider rethinking your strategy! Like I tell my son, “it's not all about you.”
