Creating a PDF file (one that can be read easily regardless of the computer it is being opened on) used to be cumbersome. You either needed to purchase expensive software or have a graphics person create the file for you.
The other day my client asked me how to create a PDF file. (She was sending an agreement for the first time over the internet and did not want it altered.)
So, I went to my trusty resources and asked:
“Quick tool question: What do you use to create PDF files?“
Here are the quick and easy ways they make PDF files and you can too:
1 — “Microsoft Word, save doc as PDF.” ~Hazel Thornton
2 — “Nuance PDF Converter. Nuance is the same company that makes Dragon Naturally Speaking.” ~Meggin McIntosh
3 — “I use a Mac. When you go to “print” a file, there's an option that allows you to save it as a pdf document. Easy.” ~Linda Samuels
4 — “There is a software called ‘Cute PDF‘ that I have used and it's simple and it's free.” ~Sheila Delson
5 — “Picmonkey allows me to save ‘customized' images with my logo by compiling them in that system.” ~Cena Block
I learned a few tricks today and I hope you did too!
