Having a clear vision of what you want to accomplish in your business is a critical component to reaching the level of success that you want, but vision alone will not get you there.
Earlier this week I was listening to an interview with John Assaraf and he shared a simple system that he uses every morning to keep his vision alive.
He said every morning he thinks of KASH and reviews each area to move his multi-billion-dollar businesses forward. (If this simple model works for multi-billion-dollar businesses, don't you think it could work for you?) KASH stands for:
K = Knowledge
A = Attitude
S = Skills/Strategies
H = Habits
Today, I'll break these 4 simple steps down so that you can apply them to your daily habits.
K = Knowledge
Do I have the knowledge (myself or on my team) to get me from where I am to where I want to be? If no, what knowledge do I need? Do I know what I need to know to take the next step?
A = Attitude
Do I have the right attitude? Do I have the attitude of someone that can make this happen?
S = Skills/Strategy
Do I (me or my team) have the right skills and am I implementing the right strategies to take me to my goal? Having a clear vision of what you want is the first step, but then you have to have the right strategy and actions to make it happen.
H = Habits
Do I have (me or my team) the right habits? Am I doing the right things every single day to move forward?
Closing Thoughts
I liked this simple yet impacting way of doing a self-evaluation every day.
Understand what your strengths are. Are you strategic? If no, find someone who can help you with that! Tactics and tips are great, but they won't get you far if you don't have a solid strategy to back it up.
Focus on your strengths and fill in your weaknesses with others that can help you.
Not sure? Maybe it's time for you to get an outside perspective on your business. Often talking to someone that is not involved in the day-to-day will help you identify things that are in your blind spot.
What do you do daily in your business to help you move forward? I'd love to know! Reply in the comments below.
Until we talk again,
Live Fully — Love Openly — Laugh Often — Leverage Your Brilliance — Connect Authentically — Get Your Message Out — Serve with Impact — Prosper Everyday

Hi Missy – Thanks for dropping by and for liking on Facebook. Simple is often the most overlooked. Let me know how it goes if you try this KASH system.

What works for me is to journal every day, read for 15 minutes on self development, video, and then blog. I share all of this as my way of moving my team forward.
Those areas of my weakness I do ask for help. I am not superwoman but I know how to put a team together!

Thanks for sharing what works for you every day Katrina. Do you have a special way that you journal?
